Owners
Suzanne Mouton-Odum, Ph.D.
Dr. Mouton-Odum is a licensed psychologist
and a co-founder of PsycTech, Ltd. She specializes in cognitive
behavioral therapy with children, adolescents, and adults.
Dr. Mouton-Odum has a special interest in treating people
who suffer from body focused disorders (self-injurious skin
picking and hair pulling). She has extensive training in
this area and dedicates most of her clinical time to the
treatment of these disorders. Dr. Mouton-Odum serves on
the Scientific Advisory board of the Trichotillomania Learning
Center, a national organization dedicated to education and
awareness of body focused disorders. She has been studying
and treating these disorders for nine years and has published
articles summarizing the mood states associated with trichotillomania
and group treatment for this disorder. She also co-authored
a book chapter outlining cognitive-behavioral treatment
for trichotillomania.
Robin Reamer, Ph.D.
Dr. Reamer is the president and co-founder
of PsycTech, Ltd. She is a licensed psychologist providing
clinical services to children and their families. She has
more than a ten-year history of research and applied interventions
with young and school-age children with developmental, behavioral,
and emotional disorders. Dr. Reamer has designed and evaluated
interventions for children who have social deficits and
who have difficulties in understanding and responding to
the pragmatics of communication between human beings in
applied contexts.
Consultants
Melinda Stanley, Ph.D.
Dr. Stanley is a licensed psychologist
and a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral
Sciences at the University of Texas Health Science Center,
Houston, Texas. She has published widely on the topics of
trichotillomania and obsessive compulsive disorder and has
conducted epidemiological research and clinical research
trials with patients having obsessive compulsive disorder
and trichotillomania. She is currently a consultant to the
Trichotillomania Learning Center's Scientific Advisory Board.
Nancy Keuthen, Ph.D.
Dr. Keuthen is a licensed psychologist
and Associate Professor of Psychology/Psychiatry at Harvard
Medical School. She is a leader in the field of treatment
of both trichotillomania and self injurious skin-picking,
having published extensively on treatment for both of these
disorders. Dr. Keuthen has co-authored the only strategy-based
self-help book for the treatment of adults with trichotillomania
(Help for Hair Pullers) as well as the only clinical summary
outlining cognitive behavioral treatment for skin-picking.
She serves on the Scientific Advisory Board for the Trichotillomania
Learning Center.
